Fan-freaking-tastic! I love it. I'm pretty sure I need the darker BC too!

I ran home during lunch and my box from Michael was sitting by the front door. Seriously, this Black Cherry hat is The Bomb! I totally love this color, but as I said above, I'm pretty darn certain I need the darker BC too.

I'll try and get some more pictures this weekend. These are Michael's pictures that are posted on his etsy sight.

You have to see this baby in the light. It just beams BC goodness, lol.

It's so much more than I expected. I was afraid it would be too "red," and that the brim binding ribbon at 5/8" would be too wide and gaudy. None of that. I L-O-V-E, Love it!

It's fairly subdued inside. There's a kind of an iridescent quality to it. But if better light hits it, man it just beams... even so, it's looks as though there's a coating of some kind that makes it glow from the exterior of the felt. Like it's black with a pearl coat on it.

I used to have a pretty sweet 280Z when I was about 29. It was silver with a pearl coat on it. When the light hit the car, all kinds of blues and purples and such would shine from the coating. This has that same character. Very cool indeed.

So, no surprises here but my ability to take decent pictures is sorely lacking. Also, even in focus this camera doesn't pick up the real texture or color of the felt. I mean, the basic color is there but none of the radiance the black cherry felt has.
