I will post more shots soon, but here's my new Gannon I got last week. Absolutely in love with it. His block must be a longer oval, because it fits like a glove. The quality is phenomenal.

The crown is VERY high too, I bashed a diamond into it at around 11cm in the front and 9 in the back. Bashes very nice and lumpy

Pecan Beaver, 2.25 brim.

Well just got some emails from Michael regarding my reddish Black Cherry, first time I doubt on choosing the ribbon.

Ended up with 2 options 2"Black, with burgundy brim bind or 1 3/4" Burgundy with Burgundy binded brim.

My doubt is that indoors it might seem that the Burgundy looks nicer and gives better contrasts, but under natural Light it is the opposite...

Any feedback?

I have a real strong bias for the tone on tone. Not a big fan of a lot of contrast between ribbon and felt. Think the burgundy on burgundy is uber classy.

Rodolfo: I also think you made the right choice. I think the burgundy looks good indoors and out. And, hey: the ribbon is one of the easiest things to change if you decide you don't like it.

Tried but hard to find in 1 3/4", he did get a stunning steel blue but it was to,much,of a contrast with the burgundy brim binding, so we saved for my next hat in Navy Blue.
