I know we will not be able to duplicate the felt ... and I have doubts about the two tone ribbon as well

but if we can get the dimensions , the brim flange, bow, and close to the color with the felt as thin as he can pounce it I think I will be more than satisfied

I am naturally a delusional person ... but not delusional enough to think we can duplicate a Borsalino :)
Wouldn't it be great if we could clone hats? Can someone smarter than me start working on that?

Got my first Gannon today.

Silvermist with a wide contrasting ribbon, binded 2 13-14/16 " brim and a beautiful bow.

Couldn´t be happier, the hat is beautiful.

You can tell that this is a very nice high quality item.

There is no doubt that the beaver felt is of very high quality and the workmanship is great, but there is something about this hat that I love, you can tell it was made with love and heart, you can tell Michael really love what he does.

I had placed an order for another one in bone before but just told him to put me in line for 3 more hats.

You cant go wrong with this hats.

Beautiful..

Get one, it will make you very, very, very happy.

Congrats sir. The silver mist is a fun felt choice to wear. Blue, gray and black primary attire pairs well with the silver mist. It is an eye catching fedora. The color insert in the ribbon is classy.

I will be interested to see your pics of "daily wear." Congrats sir!

Wear it in pride, Eric -

Thanks Eric,

You have a similar one, isn't it a beauty?

Will pic posts on Monday, I feel I need to wear it for the first time while riding around the "old lady" for a while.

Seems rhe right thing to do, a classy hat that takes you to the old times of gentlemen and ladies, should be worn properly !!

You will like the pics.

Thanks for your kind words !!

Have a nice weekend.

Regards

Rodolfo.

P.S. love your hat pics when you walk by the, still cold, northern landscape

My hat is similar sir. Love wearing it and agree it is very special. I am flattered that you enjoy my pics of my "backyard." In turn I enjoy the warmer climate pics that you post. You show tribute and honor to your climate and culture. Bravo!

Can not wait for your coming pics. Best, Eric -

My Gannon arrived on Wednesday. I could not be more please. Michael followed my specs perfectly, from the 57.5 cm headband to the 5 3/4" open crown. And the whiskey color is probably my favorite of the any of the hats I own: very versatile and its changing hues look great in all kinds of light. I tried to incorporate some of the insight I gleaned from the Monster Bash thread into the diamond crease I put into it; and may fuss with it a little more. Bottom line: I've already asked Michael to put me in line for another order. Time to get that Dark Moss I've been wanting; maybe with a 2 3/4" brim this time.
