One of the benefits of having a dog is that when you take them for a walk there will always be people that will stop and talk about dogs. My Max the dachshund always draws comments that are pretty positive.

"Yes whenever I walk Hunni folks come up and say "How cute are youuuuuu?" I just reply "Oh Thanks, and what do you think of my Doggie?"

I was walking my tiny greyhound with a friend who also has a tiny miniature greyhound at the beach when we came across a couple of Young ladies with tatoos and jackets that seemed to have some, type of hood attached? they laughed at our "Tiny" dogs and enquired "Why don't you get a your selves a couple of real dogs?"

to which my chum replied "When are you young ladies available?"

I just wanted to share our sweet fuzzy baby. We have been waiting for years to get a dog and finally! His name is Ullr and he is a Norwegian Elkhound. He is just 12 weeks!

Ullr says "thank you" for thinking he is good lookin'! We are really fascinated by his breed and think he will be a very good example of what it has to offer.

His name is the same as the Norse god of skiing, archery, etc. We say "OO-lur," because that is how I have always heard it said. We are big into skiing and snow and anything winter. So it seemed appropriate.
