Man! That is a mini heeler!
She is.
As I've said before, she's the same height at the Bedlington.
That makes it easy to walk by (going nowhere in particular) and snap at the Bedlington's face.
This results in a retaliation from the Bedlie, in the form of grabbing a pointy ear, or her neck!
In an attempt to flee the danger, the Heeler will run full speed to get away, with the Bedlie still latched on running right beside her. :D
One of these days she'll realize the Bedlie is a little bit faster.

Geez, if that was my heeler, he would have eaten the Bedlington by now. :p
Mach's cat is bigger than your dog. :p

Currently, we have five dogs...not intentionally. I got Delilah after college, she had really bad separation anxiety and I always wanted a greyhound, so the next year, along came Arthur. Not a racer, he's an AKC registered coyote dog (hunts coyotes in packs for farmers) that was given up for adoption to the GPA in Indy by his owner when he turned 6. He's 13 now. The GF had Willy, then got Magic - both racers. Willy retired at 4 when he broke his leg and had to have it pinned on the track. Magic ran five races and came in dead last every time. Missy is an inheritance - my grandmother's dog. She died in 2007, and Missy lived with my parents until they realized that she liked our dogs better, so she became a permanent houseguest.

We also had a foster, through the ABRA Angels program out of Crown Point. His name is Sheriff and he now lives in Traverse City with a couple of my good friends.

The cat probably is bigger than my Heeler, but the Heeler is more determined.

Mickey, thanks for giving all those dogs a home.
The picture in the Subaru...they're all nose to butt. :D

Several years ago I posted about Cocoa, the Springer Spaniel I rescued during the summer of 2007 when he was eight years old. http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?13228-Loungers-Pets&p=466955&viewfull=1#post466955
Sadly, Cocoa passed away on September 30 last year, and both Shawnee (my other Springer) and I were so lonely I decided to adopt another Springer from MAESSR (Mid Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue). This past November, "Hunter" entered our lives. He's eleven years old and deaf, and he's a really sweet goofball:

Wow! He looks good for 11. My previous dog Samantha lived to be 17. I hope you have many years ahead of you two. Samantha became deaf when she got to be about 14. They can cope fairly well.
