Seriously considering pulling the trigger on this jacket but I'm unsure about the sizing. Does anyone have one of these in XL or 2XL? I'm 6'3 with a 43" chest so based off the size guide on the website I should go for an XL but I'm worried about the sleeves being too short as is always the case when I buy off the rack. FWIW the sleeves on my Highwayman are 28.5" which I consider to be a perfect fit so if anyone has an XL or 2XL I'd love to hear from you. Thanks

I'd think you'd need Tall sizing, in Large.

I agree it is not as robust as CXL or even Vicenza in terms of thickness, but this version has some decent heft to it and is easier to wear right out of the box. The leather measures a bit over 1mm in thickness on the exposed edges. I feel CXL HH in about 3oz, Vicenza is about 2.5 to 3 oz, and this Buffalo is about 2oz. Interestingly, LEVI’s quietly made 2 versions of this for 2017-2018 season. The first version was with front buttons not snaps. The version I got is a later one with button snaps. I find the snaps easier to use than buttons. Also, I was able to compare the leather of version 1 with buttons and version 2 with snaps. Interestingly, from the samples I inspected, the version 2 jackets were noticeably made with thicker leather and had more heft compared to the version 1 jackets. From the 4 to 5 size small jackets at my local LEVI’s store, this particular jacket had the thickest leather feel to it. In addition, this jacket made the version 1 jackets feel flimsy and almost shirt like in terms of leather thickness.

Being as “anally retentive” as I am with leather jackets, I tried on several at the store and reviewed at least 7 to 8 samples before I finally picked this one. I bet the salesperson loved me:p
I have he second version and it is thick.

I tried an XXL from an online sale, I'm a size 44" chest normally and it was too big for me (I suspected it would be as I'm normaly a L or an XL but it was a super good price and one review on the Levis site had said it fitted slim!)

It seemed at least one size too big on me, it isn't a slim fitting jacket and the sleeves felt longer than a 'normal' Levis denim jacket. i'd guess maybe the XL if the sleeves work.

Anyway, I sold it on and these are the measurments I'd taken from it.

Chest (Measured across jacket laid flat) - 24"
Shoulder (Measured top of shoulder seam to shoulder seam) - 21"
Sleeve (Shoulder to end of sleeve) - 26.5"
Length - 26.5"

I am 6' 1", 42-43 chest. I tried one of these on recently at my local Levi's store. The XL felt great for me, long enough in the sleeves and body. I did't bring a tape measure but my Schott Perfecto Truker fits great with 27" sleeves.

Thanks for the replies. Pretty sure I would have to go with the tall option if it is available.

These photos aren’t as good quality as Radz, but here they are. Same size as Radz’s jacket (sm), and I’m 5’7” and 145lbs. Jacket and cuffs buttoned and unbuttoned.

I am toying with the idea of selling this jacket for $149. Since these photos, I haven’t worn it—below are the last set of photos before it went into the walk-in closet (in same exact condition):

Does anyone here have interest? [Edit: I wore this jacket less than half-dozen times—it’s very supple and still quite new, and the leather, buttons and linings are in absolutely perfect shape.]

Too small for me, but I will second or third the quality of the jacket, tried one on at a local Levis store.

I had one but it was way too long..I lost a lot of weight so the XL ended up way too long..
If youre a 44" go for a M or L..(M is 41-44" whereas L is 44-47" so it can be tricky gauging if you need M or L)..I ended up giving mine to a big lanky friend
