Hi folks, long time no hear.....about to put that right. Just scored a Levis 213 LVC jacket to match my 1929 LVC bucklebacks. The darn thing arrived and I am surprised by the roomy and long cut. Now my question is: was this jacket originally also cut roomy and longer than other Levi jackets ? Did LVC change the sizing and perhaps adapted them a wee bit. My 506xx WW2 rigid LVC jacket also has a longer cut, my other 506xx is cut just right, trim and short.
I wonder whether any of you Levis/denim experts can shed any light on this, perhaps direct me to a good website where I can find out more on the actual original sizing etc. I thought that most denim jackets from the 30s right thru the 60's were cut short....
