I'm a Jameson guy but lately I've become fond of Tullamore Dew.

Aye, those are both very good. The single malt sounds good too. Those are much harder to find than Scotch single malts.

You are right. They are. Every time I go to the BevMos around here they only have the blends of those names……:doh:

Just tried paddys. IT's ok a little weak on taste for me. My favorites are as follows.At least of the 4 that I have tried.

Tullamore is always worth a try. There are a few different offerings though. Time to try them all.

I don't feel that Irish Whiskeys, especially Jameson are as flavorful as Bourbons or Scotches. I usually buy a bottle of Jameson when it goes on sale.

You haven't tried the right one then. have you tried Connemara or Redbreast? Those should meet your requirements for flavor.

Actually the Jameson makes a good contrast to the Talisker and Laiphroig.

Hmmm. That's too bad. I too wonder if that wasn't an isolated thing. Like a wine bottle whose cork has gone bad (except it fouls the taste of the wine).
