Saw this one, sadly it's a size smaller than I could squeeze into. Also the body length is on the short side. It's a looker to be sure, though.

I really like Schotts non-motorcycle stuff. I mean I own two Schotts a 618sh and a 613sh but I also own some Vansons and had an aero I moved on. But these style coats/jackets their sweaters and jeans. Since we’re not talking about hide and thickness and customization and hardware on these items. Just quality, long lasting and nice they are actually great. I own some their sweaters and one pair of jeans. Not bad at all. And yup that green plaid one is something.

That's exactly the impression I'm getting from this non-biker line. I really dig the direction they've recently taken. Seems just like honest, unpretentious outerwear. Stuff I'd probably get much more wear out of than from any leather jacket. If only they'd take some better photos of these jackets...

I have two sweaters, a pair of jeans. And a zip up hoodie. I may grab a pick of the hoodie. I swear it weighs as much as my vanson. Is super warm and will never fall apart. Oh and a pea coat! And I’m really not even a Schott fan boy. Like I said the jackets are classics and some are fantastic and a lot are subpar. My Vansons crush the Schotts. But non-bike everyday wear stuff Schott really is great and they don’t get much love. I assume it’s two fold. The impression people get because of their jackets and their collaborations with a lot of fashion brands. And they don’t stick to 1930-1960s replicas. The stuff is certainly still styled that way and in that vein but not a repro and not necessarily made the same ways. But they are seriously well made, warm, heavy, quality clothing. That is priced a step below those proper repro makers. So I guess I am a Schott fan just not of their jackets haha.

My Menlo by Levi.

Perfect for my mild winters. I customed by removing the thin light stitching running
up between buttons and pockets.
Feels more like the "lightweight" A-1 I've
always wanted which wears like a sweater.
Not heavy or stiff at all yet very strong.
It wears like my second skin.
I love the wear and age it is taking without
having to do anything special to it.

A really nice jacket! I love how the front pockets are shaped.

However I doubt it it’s from the 40s as the ad title claims. It surely must be from the 60s at the very least?

Levi’s always makes different versions in goat, buffalo, cow etc so it’s hard to keep track. Annoyingly the brown version is not available in EU

I have been looking at those for a while now but Levis USA won't ship to Canada and I just recently realized there is a Levis Canada that will ship to me but have not pulled the trigger yet since I am unsure how they fit compared to a regular denim trucker.

I am a medium but take a L in Levis truckers. The sale is on and no hassle returns for Canada so maybe I'll go for it today. It is just that the sleeves are always too long for me on the size L truckers but I have an 18" shoulder so a M is too tight up there.
