Selling boots detailed in subject / imaged below.

I bought these as my grail boots but unfortunately they fit too tight (I'm a 10D on the brannock -- these fit like a 9.5D).

I wore these a couple times when they were leather things motor lasted but they were too large, so I elected to get them relasted with clinch on the CN last, clinch buckles, custom insoles/slim the shaft so they can fit under tapered jeans.

Unfortunately relasting these made them fit too small...never worn outside since. Like-new condition.

Asking $950 and will split the shipping with whomever purchases, shipped via their preferred method.

Hi Regius,

These are horsebutt from leather things motor (dress engineers). The leather is very nice and dense.

I can measure them for you tomorrow, but if you know your brannock they will fit a 9.5D. I’m a 10D and they’re just a tad bit tight to be comfortable.

Kind regards,
James

Man, that's a rough story. Getting your grail boots, sending them in for expensive modifications and getting them back fitting even worse. Hope you manage to recuperate as much as possible. Incredible boots, MOTOR engineers are also my grail. Maybe someday!

Cheers Tartu, appreciate you taking a look.

You may have noticed but it happened to me twice — also for my grail brown coloured boot, also posted on Fedora lounge.

I’ve recuperated by buying additional boots, however, I’d like to balance the budget a bit.

Kind regards,
James

Guys, I have been wearing my MOTOR engineers for about a year and a few months. The color of these changes so beautifully and the Roles are very similar to the Clinch. I love it all except the Shaft which in my opinion is a little too wide (seems like this good man has fixed that issue so if I would fit these,... I would have pulled the trigger).
BTW MOTOR has these boots only once a year.

Would love to buy these if they’d fit.. maybe you can advise: I’m just shy of 11D on Brannock, I wear an 11 in Nike. 10D in Red Wing. I currently own the John Lofgren engineers in 10.5 and they’re loose (had to put an insert in and wear boot socks). My foot measures 10.5” (26.67cm). What do you think?

Hi Toasty,

Unfortunately these will not fit you.

They are sized for someone who is a 9.5d on brannock, or a very narrow 10, e.g., 10c
