Leather odors

I just put my jacket out in the sun today for about 2 hours max and the funny odor is gone. At home they said they didn't smell anything but I sure did... Now it just smells like suede leather and the liner doesn't smell of anything. I'll repeat the process tomorrow just to be in the clear 100%.
That's great news! I put it out all day on Sunday, but it was a little overcast all day and then the barn cats decided they were interested and I had to scrap the idea early. Last thing I need is a kitty nesting in it. I might try it this weekend if it's not 30 degrees again. If it is cold, I might just go with the bourbon idea from K and call it a night.

I think a nice windy warm day will fix the jackets. Spill the liquor in your mouth not on your jacket!
