So tempting considering I have a 32" waist and 42 chest and 5'9. If only I wasn't 3wks away from my custom Vanson Chopper and cash poor at the moment!

I'm perplexed at the stated waist measurement of 32", the statement that "if your waist is bigger than 33", this jacket will not fit", and the seller's follow-up that he had a 34-35" waist when he took possession, and it fit him. I'm tempted, but would need to move a few jackets to be able to afford it at this time, and the uncertainty about fit is too much.

Hmm... the fit must be important as well. Thedi incorporates footballs as well... but the movement is still encumbered.

If this was my size i would jump on it... looking to order another riding jacket.

I would like to correct my previous statement. It appears what i was looking at on my thedi cr are not underarm footballs.

Hmm ... my next riding jacket i think should have these definitely....

Love this jacket! Hope it finds a good home.

Too small for me but a consideration for my next jacket. Thought it was too 20's rock-star in the catalog but looks great on you and you're clearly in your 30's so I hope I can pull it off half as well.

Good question. I intentionally added a margin of error. I like the very trim cut/look at the waist. This is the fit I like but it is not every ones cup of tea.
I wear size 32 in almost all pants, however the actual inside measure of pants sized 32 is usually 34 "real inches".

My actual waist measure, according to the Langlitz measuring instructions (https://www.langlitz.com/measuring/) when I had this jacket made was 35.5 inches. I knew I was losing a few pounds so I subtracted 2 inches. When it arrived it fit like I anticipated- very trim at the waist. My current real waist measure is 34 inches = pants sized 32. The colored leather Langlitz uses has a spongy forgiving give as opposed to their medium weight cowhide which has very little give. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explanation. My waist is right at 34" as well, but I think I'd prefer something a bit less snug than that. Most of my jackets are about 38-40" at the waist, which seems like a lot, but over the waistband of my pants, with a 1/4" thick belt, it seems about right. If I wear a jacket with a 36" waist, it's very tight, and not very practical. I love your jacket and it makes me want to find a sidewinder of my own someday.

Sweet, please don't drop the price on this jacket any further.

It's safe to say that this can be considered the best leather jacket you can get for literally any amount of money and it's one of the finest I've seen from Langlitz. In addition, seems to me it's made from the super heavy cowhide they no longer offer as an option so for anyone out there looking for a perfect Langlitz in that legendary hide, this might be their only chance to get one. I see jackets like this going for $3K on Yahoo auctions.

All things considered, this'd be a bargain even at $1500.

Man, it does look great....

Can you post a picture of a measuring tape along the bottom hem, with the side zippers and main zipper closed.
Fingers crossed for 20.5"
