I have been trying to find a Lagomarsino Diamante 1001 hat stockest, there is a stockest section on the web site but this is still under construction, I have emailed the manufacturer a couple of times and they have not replied.
Dose any one know who stocks this hat or another make which looks the same, I am after that particular crown shape and a size 1 3/8" brim.

I dont think anyone has Lagomarsino here in the US anymore. We used to carry quite a few of them as did some of the other hat stores but the distributor closed up a few years ago. The only way to buy the hats now is directly from Lagomarsino in Argentina .

South Street Hats in Philadelphia! Seriously. They have plenty. Whether or not it's old stock, I don't know, but they're on the shelves with price tags on them.

It has to be old stock. The distributor liquidated hundreds of hats from their inventory a few years ago. We bought a lot of hats but they are all gone expect for a few pieces here and there. It is a shame because they made a realy good hat for the money .

Ah, first post here and yes, your best bet guys is to order directly from Lagomarsino' site or ask someone to get the hat for you and pack it on a Correo Argentino box #3 (or inside a hat box) full of bubblewrap.

I recently bought a dark green "Australian Flexi" (which I assume is a design based on the traditional Akubra because, well, Akubra = Aussie) with a wide, 7cm brim.

I agree that the quality is quite nice and it's one of the few hat makers left here. The lady at Lagomarsino was also quite helpful as she explained me all the etiquette, usage and care.

It seems that the Panama-type hats might increase in price for this summer as well so maybe it might be time to get one before they go up...
