Thanks for the tip. I find that Lagomarsinos pleasing. Of course others may
not care for them. They have a sturdiness to them and look that appeals. Aslo they are a bit exotic and out of the mainstream. The Amazonas model seems to be hard to find. I'll check with your retailer. Thanks again.

Hey . . . I like the looks of some of those . . .

If the price is right, I could be interested.
Anyone have any idea if anyone is providing them via mail order in the US?

They seem to make some cool looking hats, but good luck finding most
of them. I got my first one from Noggintops last year as a close out.
It is 100% nutria felt. I was amazed at the quality, considering the low price. Some of the offerings from the manufacturer's website would be great, if only....

We dealt with them for two years. They made great hats but they had a major distribution problem here in the USA . They lost a lot of money. We are still selling their suede western hats on our website.
As for their felt hats , the problem is that they dont have a lot of blocks and flanges to make dress hats and the trimming was a problem. But the quality was better than any hat made here in the USA including Stetson and Bailey.
We will see what the future brings as they are nice people to deal with.

Thanks Steven
I agree about the quality. I like it better than the two Borsalinos
I also have. I may have read other posts about Lagomarsino,
probably yours, that outline some of their problems and attributes.

I'd also like to say that I have never seen a group like this on the
web. Everyone is so courteous and helpful. Fedora Lounge is great.
