Wow, what a great movie!!

I just finished watching this on TCM. It's pouring rain here in Ct., so it was a perfect movie day:)

I love a good mystery/suspense film and this held my attention all the way.

Any other fans out there?

Happy Birthday Rita, we miss you! ;)

I have this DVD but haven't had the time to see, I've read reviews, it should be a good one. Lady from Shanghai :eusa_clap

Her parents were Spanish, you know.

.

Rita's father, Eduardo Cansino, was Spanish but her mother, Volga Hayworth, was Irish American.

Irish blood mixes well.

I'm not a geneticist but I'd certainly agree that it doesn't hurt to have a little Irish in the genes.;)

Think Anthony Quinn

.

Several years ago, I was standing on a mid-town Manhattan corner, waiting to cross the street. As I waited for the light, a car that was attempting to make a right turn stopped in the crosswalk right in front of me. Anthony Quinn was in the passenger seat, in a fully reclined position. Our eyes met and he gave me a wink, to which I returned a smile. A moment later, the light changed and we were both on our way. He passed away around a month later.
