Well,I hesitated to show this pinup pic off since it was lingerie:)D But our lovely Johanna posted one,so I think it's safe).I know the Gals here will really appreciate this find, which I picked up at a garage sale for $2.Vintage Valentino.

All I can say is wow! This is a fantastic photo! (And I'm insanely jealous of your $2 garage sale find!)

Here is a recent one of me in a WWII WAC getup:

You lovely FL'ers certainly know how to make a girl smile!

Oh and anyone asking after the dress, it's just a good ol' Stop Staring - from Daddyos.com!

Now that's an appropriate name for the dress! lol lol lol :D

Is this an authentic WWII WAC uniform?
It is an impressive outfit. :eusa_clap

It is, it is an original "off duty" dress. I won it last year off ebay, but this was the first time I'd worn it. The overseas cap, purse, and shoes, are all reproductions, however.

I wish I had a better picture of my hair. I'm wearing it in a chin-length angled bob, and it turned out SO perfect!

No, it isn't pinks. It is a wool crepe in a color called "horizon tan." The Army chose that because it matched with everything else, and because the dress was made for both enlisted women or officers. It is the winter version of the dress, they also had a summer version that was made out of a very light beige fabric.

Thanks for the kind words! All of the ladies here are lovely. I am very impressed by all the photos.

Fun at the AZ State Fair.

Please note that heels and the funhouse don't usually mix, but it CAN be done!!! I wish I didn't have my glasses on in this photo, but walking backwards in heels in the barrel roll waiting for the photo to be taking = one goofy photo! Hahahaha lol :p
