Tango Yankee -- the stand is very high-tech...

The stand I use for posing hats was custom-made by a retired blacksmith using parts of a titanium crutch he no longer uses since the miracle. Here's a pix of it:

What! You say you don't believe me? You say it looks like a cheap camera tripod with a credit card stuck on top. Well, damn, there goes my credibility.

GREAT looking hat! I can see why you are so pleased with it. I think I actually have a T&J stuck back somewhere.....but not as unique as yours.

lol I like it! Great, simple idea that works well. :eusa_clap

Sure beats shots of a hat being held up by a hairy arm!

Cheers,
Tom

Hey Dinerman,

I don't have a shot of the hat, but it was a very very very dead version of the black one in the last pic you posted just above here. The sweatband was cracked and ripped, the brim was torn from edge to crown in the front, 'twas filthy and moth eaten beyond belief. I only bought it for the liner (which, inciddentally was immaculate [huh] ) to put into my good T&J.

oh well . .

Tom n Jerry

I've actually had a Tom n Jerry. many decades ago. The folks who were making them laughingly called them Tom n Yarries , sort of Latinizing the name. I remember it being almost meringuey with the whipped cream. Very tastey, a good drink for coming in out of the cold.

I found a giant Tom and Gerry set today at a consignment shop. I didn't get it though.
Each glass was labeled Tom 'n' Jerry, as was the bowl.
same kind of script.
