The jacket looks well made though... I wonder who the maker is. It seems like a good custom jacket... the customer got what he wanted made to high standards. The fit also seems very good.

That grey leather is also a nice shade and the knits match pretty well in terms of shade... I am thinking a G1 in these colours would look pretty special

My mom had a duster length stone washed denim jacket that she bought in the late eighties and wore for a good ten years afterwards. Even at the time I thought that jacket was kind of funky, but seeing this Type 3 extra long makes me realize but I was too hard on my mom.

I've seen these in thrift stores in women's sections but yeah, I think my mom had something similar, too. It was also stone washed and probably more in a style of a Levi's shirt than a Type-3.

It looks very military. Whenever you see a movie depicting WW2, you see a pilot wearing his RAF uniform jacket underneath an Aero Irvin. Could that be the inspiration?
