Just ordered an Akubra Fern Green CEO

from Aaron's. Could arrive tomorrow since I'm only 100 or so miles away, provided Fedex doesn't send to the left coast first or some other weird routing, it should arrive tomorrow.

I have a Akubra Federation, Squatter and Camp Draft, they are wonderful hats.

Seeing it on Aaron reinforced my opinion that it will look good on me. Same basic lines as the hat in my avatar.

the specs from Aaron's web site on this are:

Material: Fur felt

Sweatband: Leather

Lining: White satin

Crown: 4 1/4"

Brim: 2 7/8" bound edge

Now thats the way to sell a hat!

for my camels hair coat and jacket, and walnut leather jacked and green corduroy jack and minty green ski parka and and and.

FEDEX mis-shipped, of course...

and the rep from Fedex said "with an economy service you shouldn't expect much".

Barb, I'm not sure why you're saying it was mis-shipped. We are tracking it and it is scheduled for delivery later on today. The tracking you looked at says it went to Littleton, NH because that's the depot that services our location. I know you're anxious to receive the hat but please be assured it is scheduled for delivery today.

Doesn't say where it is going next. Don't know where it spent the day yesterday, but it left Littleton, then arrived back there at 5.30pm-ish and left shortly after that for CT where it spent the night. (Hope it had a good time.) Do you think Fedex needs a GPS?

according to the web. DHL is great here, UPS depends on what driver is on the route on any given day. Fedex has always been horrific.
