LoooooL. Already broke. Seriously on the first day. Died a glorious death tho!I feel sorry for that skinny white plastic hanger, it is going to break to pieces any moment.
Only B/C of where the HB is set. I've got it pulled in pretty good. That jacket cannot be improved upon. Is it a bit flared at the bottom?
Good light for seeing the CXL overdye's color.

Compared to the CXL Steer Cordovan it's Slightly heavier and does indeed show less grain right out of the box. It's very stiff initially but is losing that initial stiffness quickly, especially in the sleeves which feel very supple in about a week of wear.WHat differences do you notice between the leather in your JL jacket and that used by Aero? The surface does look smoother to me but what else?
This was to be my exit piece. And it should've well been. If I do another jacket it will certainly be from JL.The Vanson America jacket was supposed to be my exit piece... but man... your jacket makes me want another Johnson. Either in this 4 oz overdye or 4 oz bison in that glorious redwood color!
Ask Alan for some samples AM. He's got a slew of really interesting hides in various weights. There's a lighter hide called "rocky" that's very similar and has the potential to develop really cool brown under black tones. So they don't have overdye anymore? I'd get that exact jacket if they did.
