I am posting my Johnsons in memory on Johnson Tam.
The heaviest is the tan then the black beauties. The burgundy/brown is the lightest in Horween HH who has been owned by several fine member here.

Forgot my nickel zip beauty that my daughter often uses. All old school Ykk. Very cool and safe. This one has very thick and wide inside leather lapels. However, you can not tell when unzipped. The beauty of this extra leather used in the lapels is to give much better protection and insulation. Not armor, but it helps just in case you hit a blunt object. All of my black beauties have excellent sleeve lengths that work perfectly for me. I still have a chocolate beauty I truly enjoy. I think it is in Bulgaria. Funny, because the jacket I am wearing is a going-out jacket I often wear while in that beautiful country.

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to the Fedora Lounge—this is my first post.

I’m looking to get a brown cafe racer. Googling aero and chromexcel photos brought me to this thread about Johnson Leathers. Does anyone have a custom cafe racer with them? If so, what leather did you choose?

Update: JL has the best customer service. They were able to get my jacket shipped out before Christmas and I received it shortly after. It is an incredible jacket and every measurement was spot on perfect like I asked for. Unfortunately I have to have some adjustments made (my fault) and JL is not going to charge me for it. What leather did you choose for this? It looks amazing.

Yes skived steer is still a beast! More pictures after a week of wear. I didn’t change the Remix pattern and I changed the sleeve length, shortened the body and collar measurements for better fit. The plaid wool lining is nice! It was used for a batch of Nepenthes jackets.

Oo interesting, skived steer CXL. I love my steer CXL, I would imagine a skived version may be even more wearable. More pics please!

Nice sleeve rolls. The custom collar do look nicer. You trimmed it down a bit right? Mine is stock and is on The roomier side,

The Barneveld Remix has relaxed collars, and it does give a commanding spread. The size medium comes with 19" around the collar, very wide shoulders (for the tag size) and a very sharp taper down, think Stringer's jacket.

Bootsonthetrain luxed it up by what it seems to be an inch trimmed off the collar. For a neater 30s fit. It should still spread like my goatskin one because of how the collar is set in, like the Cals.
This is one of the best ones from Johnson. I'd order my next one with Boots collar tweak.

I want to order basically this exact jacket in my size. How do I go about doing so with JL?
