J B Hill are one of the best-made boots in line with T O Stanley in hide selection and construction. A step above Lucchese Classics even above the old San Antonio hand-lasted Lucchese. This pair I am selling are made with fine calfskin vamps a very comfortable boot. I feel J B Hill Boots measure a 1/2 size larger than the Brannock Device. These boots are stamped 10 eee but fit closer to size 10.5 ee to 10.5 e I am keeping a pair of J B Hill boots size 9.5 EEE that fit me better.
The calfskin will shine up well. I did not polish the boots for the pictures so the true condition comes through the photos. Nice stitch pattern in the steer hide shafts

Oh boy. Is there a liner you can pull out and measure? You think it’s closer to an e or an ee than a eee?

I am judging by how the Hill boots fit me and I am between 9.5E and 10 E on the Brannock Device. The sole is 4.25" and the vamp at the ball fills out to the edge of the sole. These finely lasted boots remind me of how M. L. Leddy boots are lasted but finer leather than Leddy typically used. I Issue I have with the fit is too much room in the toe box and loose at my instep.

Thanks. I just measure the EEEs I am wearing today and they are about 4.8" at the widest part on the bottom sole.
