Thank you all for your replies! :)

@Zeltbahn
Have you worn a cross zip biker style regularly before? If not, I might suggest you buy a cheapo version of it - eBay is full of examples - and wear it for a while to see how you feel in the style.

This is good point. I have actually had one made in china Schott perfecto but only for 2 weeks, 4 years ago. It fit me great, it cost something like 400€. But after 2 weeks of wear, one of the shoulder seams teared up and I got to return it. After that I started to drool at Lewis Leathers because I thought that the biker style looks really good on me so I got interested in the quality. But now first time in my life I could afford one.
But like I said, I only wore the made in china Schott jacket for 2 weeks so I'm not sure would I have disliked it after some more wear. At the time I remember that I liked it very much.

What I think now, that which jacket would suit me the best is either Lewis Leathers 391 or Aero Slim Fit Motorcycle jacket in Black Vicenza HH. Stylewise I think these two are the best for a young dude.

I'd go Lewis, in your shoes. In fact, I had a cheapo Lightning copy for a while and thought it was great, but sizing was fishy for me.

There's something why I think towards Lewis too in this case. Maybe it's the fact that the Lightning 391 was worn by my favourite band:

Or at least Joe and Paul wore it :D

I think double breast biker jackets are always a timeless design. It is a bit like the MA-1 bomber which has been very popular in the past 5years in the fashion scene, but slowly cooling down a bit this season. In terms of double breast bikers, you can always find them in the ladies' fashion section these days. What changes over the years is simply the cutting. I suspect there is also some differences between Europe/American and Asia in general. In Europe, people general associate the style with rock bands where as in the US, the first impression is.... the Terminator jacket.

I agree. I think both US and British style bikers are equally timeless. I don't think any of the jackets that has been mentioned in this thread would be a bad choice as long as the fit and style suits the person.

Damn it does look good and still looks fresh as new. This was cowhide right?
Isn't the standard cut quite slim already?

You can see my LL Dominator on the first page of this thread, as well as a link to the full review.

IMO LL are great jackets, the leather they use doesn't have much character compared to others, but it is still nice leather overall. If i had to order again i would go for the Veg tan cowhide they now offer as an upgrade.
It is expensive, but it was the nicest leather i had seen in a while.
