I lurked for a few years in the Beauty & Powder Room, until I FINALLY acquired a reputable email account. I mostly don't venture out of those rooms but I am starting to ;)

I am such a lurker that I haven't even put up a profile pic yet!
I found this site quite a few months ago, and read posts just about every day, but a lot of times don't feel like I have much to contribute.

EDIT: put up a pic!

I lurk more often than I post. Threads always seem to die when I post so I tend to keep out of them.

I like to see what people are wearing/ making generally and I get a lot of inspiration from here.

Now, I'm off to lurk some more.

Long time lurker. While I enjoy all things Golden Era, it's not my main passion so I don't post here nearly as much as I do on say, The Fountain Pen Network. Still enjoy looking and all the topics here. So much to learn.

All my online vintage searches always brought me to the lounge. I lurked around for a year or two before joining. I've come and go, but I don't think I could ever leave again!

I'm mostly a lurker myself...as I am not so much involved in the clothes. I like to browse the WWII section and this area mainly...and I was never one for many words either.

I was invited here by Paddy..who participated in a couple other forums I belonged to. I had noticed over the years that Paddy was not only always a gentleman through some trials and tribulations that can seem to develope with discussion boards....but also had a sense of style with not only occasional glimpes of his wardrobe...but also his relationship to others. Proving to me that 'style' can run the whole gamut with a little concentrated effort of realizing the benefits. After lurking here for a short while..I quickly picked up on the fact that many members are gladly resigned to portray themselves with similar charactoristics. A manner..or manners that can often defuse..or bring the best/worst of us back down to earth....and perhaps learn more about consideration along the way. So for me..it makes for easy participation and finding interests among the various topics. Who knows...a newsboy cap or widebrim fedora might bring out the inner you. Plus, once participating, offers a chance to make friends with interesting people from all over the world.

I'm definitely a lurker. I don't know very much about vintage and so I prefer to lurk and keep my mouth shut so I don't embarrass myself and come across a fool. I'm so glad I found the Lounge, it's such a great educational tool!
