In person..I look just like a cross between Lee Marvin and Marvin Gaye....but more importantly sound exactly like Sean Connery with a Hoosier accent..!

You DEFINITELY need to see "It Happened One Night". It's excellent (just about perfect), and won all five of the major Oscars for 1934. Claudette Colbert is also near-perfect in the movie.
Before that you need to find a picture of her taken in the 1920's when she was closer to your age. I have a book of portraits of movie stars from the 1920's and she in that photo looks *very* much like you.

You might want to watch Mrs. Miniver to see Theresa Wright as, while she isn't the lead, it is one of her best movies and it is one of the first she made so you'll see her reasonably close to your age.

Back in my salad days , the 60's, several lady's likened me to Clark Gable. I had the "big head" until I realized they were just talking about my ears.

Hey y'all, this is my first post here at the lounge. I've been looking at this thread for a while now and it took me a while until now to muster up the courage to put photos of myself for this thread. I'm wondering who do I look or remind you guys of in the Golden Era? I want to find my vintage doppelgänger!

I'll have to dig up the photographs somewhere so that I can post them. I grew up looking like Alfalfa. When I finally listened to my folks and costumed as Alfalfa for Halloween I had people stopping in the streets to take pictures with me.
