You can always use the name that directors put on movies when they are re-cut by someone else and turned into crap that the director doesn't want his name associated with:

Alan Smithee

Or go for the Groucho Marx classics:

Thor J. Flywheel
Rufus T. Firefly

Or you may borrow one that I have used as an all-purpose nonsense name for more than 40 years:

Throckmorton P. Quackenfarkler

And a lot of good these suggestions will do you...

How about an all-American name for a guy with broad shoulders, clean teech and rippling muscles:

Lance Sterling

Benny Holiday

After a couple of weird e-mails from some fans of the band, I began to use the name Curtis Deschesaie when responding to mail, to keep some distance between the band and some of the crazies that are out there.

My surname is Pudsey (the name of a town in West Yorkshire, England), the original Anglo-Saxon version of the name prior to the Norman Conquest was Podeschesiae. Marrying part of the name with Curtis, after Tony Curtis, enabled me to invent a 'manager' who could deal with difficult or strange people.

Maybe your mother's maiden name might come in handy to turn into a pseudonym?

Or just do what I did and toy with your real name and see what comes up!

How about:
Thomas Moore
Or
Harold Potter

Or you could try just a first initial and a last name that is always kind of cool:
S. Chadwick
J. McDonnel
and you could throw in a middle initial if you want and add a junior on the end
R. S. Dunthorpe Jr.
