"I just realised that i typed "do" pull off fedora well". Tha is incorrect, I "do not" pull them off well. "so this is the edit. ignore the next line, and continue on.) I do pull of a fedora very well. I have a large head and the fedoras i own are a bit small 7 1/4 so it causes the hat to sit rather high and unpropotionate. squeezin it down just looks even more silly, and is uncomfortable. I was filming a band a while back and saw a hat on one of the fellas. I did not realise the impact it had made on me until i had started on the road home. I believe it was a porkpie. i found a few pictures of the same hat on same fellow fromw another show they played. It seemed a bit shorter of a hat live but i still like it no the less. Does someone make a shorter um.. i don't know what it is called body of porkpie?

clicking makes them bigger

thanks for any help you can give, sorry for no introduction for a first post if that is edicate.

There are tons of straw porkpies out there. Dobbs makes them. I even see them on ebay. I'm not sure why you're having problems finding them. Sometimes they show them with the brims down rather than up, but you can wear them either way. Is that confusing you?

Look here, for instance:

That is indeed a porkpie by Brixton hats. I have seen them in person, they are quite nice!

You might keep your eye on the Merchants section here at the lounge. Johnnyphi has an auction going on for some new old stock hats. He has some porkpies that he offers every now and then. You might find something you like there.
