Jovan, I know that was in jest.
I can see how someone might get the impression that I’m lazy. I’m really just conserving my energy for the situations that require a man’s strength. I never know when she’s going to say “come in here and move this sofa so I can vacuum underneath it, I know there’s dust under there” or “I’m tired of that chair being there, move it over there and put that one over here” and thirty minutes later, “I think I liked them better the other way, move them back where they were.” Sometimes she’ll even call me from work and say something like “I forgot to tell you that the newfies are coming today, you know I can’t pick them up, you need to come help me for a little while.”
Things were a little easier when my kids were still home. She’d get my son to do a lot of this stuff, but now I have to do it all.
If you ever get married, work her hard and make her as strong as possible, you'll be better off in the long run.
