How many Texans we got here?

I can't make it to any of the west coast gatherings, so I got to thinking...there's a bunch of us in the Lone Star State, and maybe we could have our own 'lil git together. There's a couple of us around the D/FW area and another couple in the central San Antonio area. One I know of in Austin, another in College Station, another couple in the Houston area. See what I mean? I'm not a real planner or anything but I would be willing to travel a couple hunnert miles to fellowship with y'all.

Any thoughts?

Victoria. Was born here. I'm 6th generation. My kin folk settled here on the banks of the Guadalupe river back in 1824 when Texas was still Mexico's northern frontier. We've been here ever since except for a breef period during the war for independence from Mexico. Old great-great grandpa did'nt want his daughters being ravaged by the invading mexican army, so he evacuated his family to New Oreleans, a safe haven at the time, until Santa Anna's defeat by General Sam Houston's Texican Army at San Jacinto. The battle of Goliad was fought just 25 miles southwest of here.

I could do Dallas, Austin or San Antonio. I would not be able to got to Del Rio, Midland or Odessa. The Panhandle is out also.
