How many products do you use in a Day?

I recently went on a business trip and had the pleasure of packing up my toiletry bag. I don't consider myself to be particularly high maintenance, but was surprised by the number of different products I use in a day... which leads me to the question....

How many products do you use in a Day (not including makeup)

facial scrub
toner
(shampoo and conditioner --every other)
seasame seed oil
moisturizer
eye cream
contact lens rinse
setting spray (every other)
hair gloss
hair spray
perfume
night mosisturizer
cold cream

So for me 14 items, not including any makeup. My toiletry bag was so heavy, I had to check it separately!

 Wow, you really use quite a lot of stuff (if I can say that....)
So, usually I only use:
Shampoo and conditioner
moisturizer

...... oh that's it, if I'm going out I also use setting lotion and hairspray and sometimes perfume.

Shower gel or oil
Setting lotion
Hair spray
Shine spray
Cold Cream
Moisturizer (different one for face and body)
Perfume
Deodorant

Soap
Shampoo and Conditioner (every third day)
Body Lotion
Facial Moisturizer
Setting Lotion
Hairspray
Shaving Gel (every third day or so)
Anti-Prespirant
Baking Soda (as tooth powder)
Cold Cream
Sunscreen (if I'm going to be outside for a while)

Occasionally I'll experiment with other items (like those adhesive pore cleaning thingies you stick on your nose!) but these are the steady staples.

Right out of the shower or tub, couple drops smoothed in like baby oil.

Really! That's fascinating I'll have to give that a try...does it make you smell like sesame seeds or is it pretty neutral (sorry for the wierd questions, i've just never heard of it and it's fascinating to me) I've heard of using grapeseed oil and my grandmother used to rub olive oil on her hands but I've not heard of the sesame oil

Ok sorry back to the question at hand...
Loreal Vive Pro shampoo / conditioner (every other day)
Mary Kay Timewise cleanser, serum, and moisterizer (i got suckered into it by a friend of mine)
Deoderant
Shaving Cream
sometimes hairspray or setting lotion...depends on what I'm doing.
Softsoap Bodywash
and my make-up

If I'm going out the list get's a heck of a lot longer.....

To fix my face:
blemish concealer
under-eye dark circle concealer
foundation
eye pencil
mascara
blush
lipstick
eye shadow (if I'm going out at night)

For my skin:
Olay eye moisturizer
Neutrogena anti-blemish/anti-wrinkle cream
Olay sunscreen
Carmex lip balm
Earth Therapeutics gardener's hand repair
Queen Helene mint julep mask (on occasion when I have a big pimple)
Pond's cold cream

In the shower:
Jason body wash
Aussie shampoo (to shave and wash my hair)
baking soda (to get the styling gunk out of my hair)
Sheer Blonde conditioner

To fix my hair:
Paul Mitchell hair paste
KMS styling gel
Aussie hairspray

To smell good:
Perfume
Deoderant
Alcohol wipes (on occasion when I want to freshen up, but don't really need a shower).

That's 25 products! Isn't it amazing what we "need"?

In order (more or less):

AM:
deodorant
witch hazel (face)
makeup
hairspray if needed
sunscreen if needed

PM:
cold cream
witch hazel
Queen Helene mint julep mask (every other day before shower)
body wash
shampoo (every 2 days)
deep conditioner (once a week)
setting lotion
hand lotion before bed

I have pared down considerably from what I used to use. I found that, for my skin, the witch hazel/coldcream diet (as mentioned in another thread) is all I needed for my skin to look good and I was able to get rid of all other lotions and potions for my face, which is especially good for me as the big 4-0 is looming in a few short months and not a wrinkle or crowsfeet is in sight!:D

Deodorant
Moisturizer
Toothpaste
Conditioner (after shampooing)
Biosilk hair treatment (after shampooing)

Tinted moisturizer, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip stain, false eyelashes, eyelash glue

Occasionally, I use:

Baby Magic baby bath (for shaving)

There are a few things I would like to add to the list, but money is tight right now. :(

Numbering's so I can keep it straight. Excuse it please.

1. Facial scrub
2. Toner
3. Eyeshadow
4. Lipstick
5. Deodorant
6. Toothpase + mouthwash
7. Mascara

And sometimes bronzer. Also I wash my hair every other day, not every day, or its texture shifts and it goes all cra-azy, and I use more conditioner than shampoo.

I've pared down my list, because of complaints that I am too high maintenance.

I still use more than most of you. I spend a small fortune too. Sigh.

Soap
Shower gel (I like l'Occitane in Provence)
Pre-shampoo conditioner (Aveda Sap Moss)
Shampoo (I switch between overpriced brands)
Conditioner (I like Aveda or Redkin)
Anti-Snap for hair
Leave in conditioner
jojoba oil/coconut oil/Monoi
anti frizz spray (I've started making mine)
silicone for shine
setting gel/or texture cream
sometimes hairspray
conditioner as shaving lotion
2 kinds of body lotion
L'occitane Amande shaping gel (firmer thighs!!!)
deodorant
scented body spray
perfume
foot deodorant
hand lotion
anti-freckle serum
sunscreen
eye gel
eye sunscreen
facial serum for aging skin (Chanel or Darphin)
sometimes facial serum for dull skin
night cream
day cream
toner/or rosewater
facial sunscreen
powder
mascara
lip balm (prefer Prada  )
sometimes lipstick
concealer
toothpaste
sometimes floss

Yes, I realize that I have a problem (besides being late to work). :(

I have been working on cutting back my routine. I actually used to wear a lot more makeup and hair products. I recently gave a supermarket sized bag of stuff to my friend's girlfriend without making a dent in my stash. Using cheaper stuff is a problem though.

Now that I have used the "Neiman Marcus" stuff, it is really hard to use the dimestore stuff. It really does have a better texture and scent, even if it isn't that much more effective. However, I am concerned that I am using too much and that the chemicals aren't good for me. I am trying to become an "unwashed hippy" so to speak and use more natural products.

Well I am trying, not necessarily succeeding. lol  lol
