How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

First November trap I've fallen into is a chp repro. Police jackets not really my style but it was too cool to resist.

Similar to East West jackets, you meant?
No, Natural Comfort painted flowers on the jackets, and in later years embossed desert scenes.

This is what I found from Jelado’s IG page. I’ll definitely keep an eye on these jackets from Japan. They rarely pop up.

And I didn’t realize that Natural Comfort was a brand itself. Very interesting designs from the thread you linked to.

Definitely keep an eye out on these vintage.

I haven’t posted my purchases here since I joined but this one deserves a mention since it took me over 2 months to get it, first searching and asking for pictures with measuring tape only to find one that I really liked since they vary so much from jacket to jacket mainly due to grain variance in the hide and the amount of panels used in the front.

Only a few shops had it and most I saw had either a harsh grain transition from shoulder to sleeve (heavy grained shoulder sewn to entirely smooth sleeve), had uneven/asymmetric grain on the small front panels (and not in a good way imho), had minimal grain and were almost entirely made with smooth leather or had too many scars in the back, until I found this one.

Then I had to lobby the shop for overseas shipping and wait until they were able to do so.

I was already looking for alternatives and asking folks here for reccs until I finally got an email letting me know they were ready and I bought it yesterday.

It’s shrunken buffalo in a color called “red black” which is basically a matte dark burgundy that looks black in the shade and dark burgundy in direct light.
