How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

A teething infant daughter had me up late Friday night / Saturday morning which lead to this impulse buy. Been waiting all weekend for USPS tracking to claim to be in possession so I can say incoming:

Has a few flaws with the belt loops removed, the laces missing, frayed liner, and unfortunately that patch (ugh), but I still bit. Should be here in a few days.

Monitor,
Thanks..Your opinion means a lot to me. Especially in cross zips.
Dave (@Maverickson) would have to answer that.

"To stop the inevitable leather bunching along the inside portion of the turn, it has to be shortened. Done by taking measured pie shaped sections out of the leather along that arch. Those cuts are then enclose within both the reinforcing stitch work that holds the zipper’s fabric tape in place and enclosed within the top stitch work complete. Therefore solving that problem & all cuts are covered."

Got this beat up old Cal coming in.

Someone's done a number on the finish, like there's no way that's been achieved through wear unless the previous owner spent a lot of time on the surface of Mars.

Might have a go at recolouring it.

Cool project @Wdawg.
Somewhat of a blank canvas as it were.
I can see that looking amazing after some subtle color work. What are you thinking of doing??

Thats the thing, going back to black would be pretty easy. Would be nice to get it darker but keep some of that fading.

Could do a brown undercoat and do a semi tea core sort of thing, or go balls to the wall and make it bright blue.

Sky’s the limit, but there was a grey ghost Cal or Langlitz like that floating around here.

Thank you for the info! Really interesting stuff. Taking out a pie shaped section does make perfect sense.

how about just glaze it, probably that already makes it darker a bit and with some sheen
