How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I’ve been interested in that jacket for a while but the sizing seems to run really large. Even the XS size numbers seem a bit big for me. Looking forward to report.

LW Courier Pea Coat, Black GoatSkin 42 R is on its way to Montreal (Weight: 7 Lb 6.4 Oz). I should receive it in 10-15 days. It might take a bit longer because Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated on the second Monday of October (14th). Anyway, it will be my first Goat (except for a vintage seal brown A-2). GS is supposed to be between 3-3.5 oz. I am very busy due to the Canadian election (VIP security) and I'm traveling all across the country. I just hope I don't miss the postman on delivery day. Otherwise, it will cause additional delays and a lot of problems.

Was conditioning some jackets last night and the vintage itch struck again. My first G1, as I need a new project jacket. Star Sportswear or something but it looks like the goat should spring back to life with some tlc. I'm actually starting to dig the vintage route more than brand new. You get to see the jacket in it's "worst" shape and mentally think how it will look when you personally improve it. Instead of a shiny stiff new leather jacket that might / might not become what you like down the road.

This is a great vintage jacket jpk!
You’re gonna love the collar this winter.
I dig vintage because i am vintage.
Buying vintage jackets gives me the chance to revisit the days when i couldn’t or wouldn’t buy a certain style jacket. People didn’t have collections or even the the availability of selections. You went to a few stores and saw a few styles and picked. Today you can Google a dream and PayPal it to your door in days.
The jacket world is your oyster. Enjoy the old and the new.
Look forward to your projects.

Last night I made an offer on this vintage Cal LAPD and to my surprise it was accepted almost instantly.

The jacket looks to be in great shape but I am afraid it might be a bit short and perhaps too tight through the shoulders as well. Here’s hoping it’s not!

Never hurts to ask right. Worst thing that happens is a "no". That was my modus operandi during my single college years! I also gave a reasonable lower offer for that vintage G1 I have coming in and it was accepted. Not trying to steal / low ball, but enough to offset for potential repairs etc if the condition requires it. If it's already a "restored" jacket, than the price should accurately reflect it.
