How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Looks very cool! I'm curious - are there ways to change the direction or spread of a collar? How would you do that?
Maybe with wetting and forming the leather, but once you have creases worn into the hide, they're pretty much permanent. Maybe you could rig some kind of underwire... But that seems like a bad idea.

Actually it's not too complicated, the collar has snaps underneath that attach to the body of the jacket...when undone and with a little hot water treatment I think it'll spread out all by itself. This is the same jacket in black:

Neat. So wetting relaxes the leather, and its weight spreads it out a little all by itself? No need to, say, fix the collar in a spread position to 'force' it to spread?

Got this one, most reasonable. Another Seattle Woolen. this is my second police style jacket from this company. My first one is from the 30s, not so sure on this Pony. Looks big enough, no conclusive measurements were provided.

Nah a little hot water and it’s easily trained. Truthfully it might not even need it. I’ll surely post pics. I’m pretty pysched about this one. Brooks jackets are always fun and low impact.

Nice looking jacket. Would be interested to hear how it compares to some of your stellar Taubers or Top Notch jackets.

I'm quite sure it will be a stellar jacket. This one looks to be 40s/50s, the other three are from the 30s. I'm not sure how far into the 1950s this company went, I've seen an ad from 1947. I will do a full review when I get it. One of my favorite jackets is from this company, too small for me though.

If possible, I’d like to see a video with you comparing/showcasing all four of those Seattle jackets.

Just arrived. Rodeo Brand Western Pullover shirt, Seattle Woolen Company.

I've got a few jackets from this company. This is one of their later edition probably from the 50s.

I know folks don't like these or won't wear them. Doesn't look like this one was worn much. Excellent condition through out.

Slightly left field but found a winter riding jacket with a difference ...

Owner had it custom made 10 years ago and used it once due to illness - buckskin with merino wool lining

Based on Dennis Hopper's jacket in easy rider so should suit my oddball nature :)

I’d like to think I scoped that out for you;)
Was tempted myself as they literally never appear in that size range. Be sure to make me sorry for posting it by throwing some pics out way. It looks exceptionally nice!

I had already put in my offer when I noticed you had posted it in the Finds and Deals thread - though I started sweating bullets after I saw your post. I was nervous all morning waiting for the seller to accept my offer...haha.

I figured there might be some TFL competition, yourself included, due to its larger size. I believe Terry has an appreciation for the old Sportclad jackets as well.

If it doesn’t fit Ton, I can let ya know.

I'm glad you snagged that Sportclad. Another variation on the two Sportclads I recently posted. I like the cuff straps on this one, haven't seen that. I hope you post some additional pics!
