My eBay adventure with the Cal continues. Looks like either the seller refused to accept delivery or it is the wrong address he has on file with Ebay. Ebay states the latter and that it’s on the way back.

Surely it’s not your problem they have the wrong address supplied!!??

Sears Fieldmaster, HH incoming. Seller claims 40s vintage, I'm not sure about that. 2.2kg, slim-fitting size 44. Very interesting style on this one. You don't see these very often, and the ones I've seen pictures of have all been completely thrashed. This one appears to be in good, wearable shape.

Main zipper was replaced with what looks to be a good YKK.

The giant map pocket zipper is original, Crown

Pockets something like an A-2 jacket

Fleece lined, not sure if synthetic or natural. Looks like it might do with a cleaning.

Sears Fieldmaster, HH incoming. Seller claims 40s vintage, I'm not sure about that. 2.2kg, slim-fitting size 44. Very interesting style on this one. You don't see these very often, and the ones I've seen pictures of have all been completely thrashed. This one appears to be in good, wearable shape.

For sure. I really liked the style of this one immediately, and I had never seen one before. I think I'd like to see Aero try to revive this one as a new style for their MC line. It is really cool.

I've seen this style listed twice. One was crumbling to dust and the other one wasn't in a much better state, although it was at least holding together. In both cases, the price was insanely high. Neither had the fuzzy lining. HG did something similar, probably inspired by this jacket but it was one of their... Failed attempts. It'd be pretty sweet if Aero picked this one up! Something as cool as this that nobody else does. It would make a good bike jacket, even today. That big pocket is awesome.

Just got home from vaca and what to my wandering eye should appear, an Aero CR, in aged tan steer

Fit isn't optimal (reminds me a lot of an old Brooks fit a size down from what fits me best)...but I'll forgive it for the hide. Thick and juicy and sweet potato esque with light tan highlights.

Used. It's about 1" shorter in both body and sleeve than I prefer. I think it's tolerable tho. Love the hide. This appears as if it's been in a fight!

With that label I would say maybe 40-50s. Here is the label of my Fieldmaster suede with an original Coats Clarks zipper.

@ton132 I think that's a very nice fit. Specially to be worn casually with only a T-Shirt. The hide looks fantastic and the bi swing back definitely will help with movement.

Sellers photo, jacket is still heading my way, I’ve always admired the Aero Cheyenne, this popped up on eBay so I grabbed it, not much call for a jacket like this in my part of the world, but I do have a need for a warm coat on occasion, if the fit is good this will replace my Schott leather peacoat
