How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Why not 10oz?

Thanks, but probably not

Moonshiner feels like the correct way to go I reckon.
I have to get more pics of this hide up. Man it's thick!! I've been groping and inhaling it all night. Perhaps I should just start collecting sample cuts. This hide positively reeks of a moonshiner. Would be the coolest jacket on the planet, hands down, end of story, game over and other cliches...but seriously. It would.

I see a leather pullover jacket(shirt) in my near future.
Either a L.W. custom(if Stuart will)
A Vanson(if they still have the patterns)
Langlitz(if they customize)
Or Cal Leather

Just bought a jacket by mistake, again. Made a really low offer on a non-branded casual leather jacket. Don't think it's anything special but it has a one-piece back, and is made of very few panels overall, with stud cuffs which I like a lot, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Here's the eBay link, will post pictures upon arrival, too:

The purple quilted lining makes me guess it is from the 70s? @Monitor , you seen something like that before?

Nah man I never completed it!! I just can't accept the terms. I don't like being that vulnerable. Going back to Aero. With no regrets. I admire LW jackets but I'm not backing that business model. No chance. I'm going to build your 50's HB. With some mods of course.

Been out for a week or so so missed quite a few posts, but thought I should add my experience with LW. I always paid upfront with Stuart and haven't had any problem so far. He is quite clear, if you order a standard size, you can return it. It's only with custom works that you're stuck with whatever you order. Sleeve size adjustment comes with the standard orders.

I also have to add that his email communication is very different from his phone communication. He keeps emails short and to the point, while he takes all his time to answer your questions and concerns while on the phone. I had no trouble sending the transfer for my first order after our initial chat.

I would not do that with anybody

Edit: I also pay upfront with Thedi leathers, might be a pattern here lol

I guess the edit might make it confusing, but it is interesting to note that my favourite makers both take upfront payment, and both exceeded my expectations so far
