How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

The sunburst is a great design but if you accept my non solicited advice that fit jacket looks huge on you so hopefully you'll go smaller.

Always interested in all opinions. That picture was posted just to show the interesting two tone sunburst design. What is not apparent in the photo is that the jacket is unzipped with just a tshirt. Zipped, it would be snug to get a heavy weight sweater under.

Anyhow. 1930’s half belt ordered.

Greetings All:
Errant again in the done buying jackets ploy. Too much black...not enough tan!

Hey Ton:
Thanks man. Yes from their sale page. I do love the back of it, so simple and “smooth”. Plus the hide looks like it might be bitchin down the road.
Carrie was very helpful. She rocks!!

^^^Half way through that test myself with a “shot” Shott. Figured if this one made it anyone would.
Your Rancher wash inspired.
I was more worried about blowing up the washer to be honest.
Looking good so far.

Lol what's happening! Jean jackets are suddenly becoming very popular on TFL! It's epidemic!

You won't be adding any chest pockets?

Also, I'm not sure you'll like those pleats. They'll bulge out of the jacket if you do anything other than stand straight! If you're not standing completely straight, they just pop out. Especially at the belly and from a side, it looks really stupid, especially on a thin person. Check it out...

great looking jean jacket. great fit too. sounds like the pleats do what they are designed to do.

Would like to hear examples! Intrigued by how we change our tastes and views with time and exposure.
The clearest example for me was a Belstaff jacket, called the Blaster. When it was released I thought it looked ghastly, a horrible hotch potch of gimmicky mutations to their standard Trialmaster style.

Here's one:

And yet somehow, over the intervening years, I have become smitten with all the things that initially made me dislike the showyoffyness of it: the pocket on the back, the awkward single chest pocket, the deliberate contrasting material of the belt and shoulder patch.

I now have eBay alerts set up to ping whenever one is listed, and I live in hope that one day there'll be one in my size that I can afford.

Weird!
