Off to Eastmans next Friday, what are the odds of me not placing a jacket order?????

Going to need to sell some jackets if I do make a purchase, will put them on Classifieds before going the EvilBay route :)

Here it is the current "state of affairs".

1-Elvis jacket ordered and almost done.
2 - Dustbowl or Board racer (or both if I can't come to a decision) to be ordered this month.

Future plans:
Original Hercules
Eastman A2 russet HH
Himel Bros. Grizzly
Two Tone King of the Road
Highwayman in Vincenza (colour to be selected)
Aeromarine (tan Vincenza probably)

Not too much in my mind really

Nice. I'll look for some nice 48's ;)

Going to sell:

Wested G-1 UK CUSTOM built (46/48)
Black ANJ-3 (48)
Black Brooks CR (50)
Brown Brooks CR 48 (Gold Label)
Restored WEP 48 Reg (lovely)
X 2 XL Early Bi-swing CWU's (46/48)
Alpha Replica 60s MA-1 XL (46/48)

Time to cull the herd & free up wardrobe space + the service bill just came in on my classic car (ouch) :)

What's this please proteiny? It looks teasingly phenomenal, and I'm a sucker for buttons.

Its the Aero 1920's Work Coat in Cordovan Vicenza. Specced a little differently from the standard from what I can tell (its off the Thurston Bros featured stock page and wasn't my custom order). The back details look a lot like the Himel Canuck Railroad Jacket to me.

I agree about the buttons....I've been missing having a button up jacket option in the wardrobe since I sold my teamster a while ago.

I just ordered the Cockpit Wasp A-2 for my girlfriend (a belated Valentine's Day present!). This will be her first good leather jacket and I can't wait for it to arrive.

Careful she doesn't get the 'jacket bug' too! Your wallet won't thank you :) $$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah, you are doing it wrong. You want the to accept your addiction NOT become addicted themselves lol

She is probably the least likely person I know to become a leather jacket addict, she doesn't even like the smell of leather! If I turn out to be wrong though, I look forward to a blissful period of codependent enabling (at least until the rent is due)...

This will be my last one for a good long while. The wife told me so, so I know it to be true. :D

I stopped in Langlitz on my way thru Portland yesterday and got myself measured and put in an order for a custom.

I went with a Timberline in med weight black cowhide with black stitching and medium fit (allowing for a t-shirt and sweatshirt) with padded shoulders and elbows, straight zipper, cossack collar, two chest pockets, a bicep pocket an interior wallet pocket, and straight yoke.

Bennie advised that the wait time is about 3 months, so this puts the due date out somewhere around mid-July. Now I just need to forget about it.

It'll be very similar to this, except for brass hardware and straight yoke.

Looking forward to your see your jacket. Show lots of pictures. I've got a side zip Timberline in goat, I'm thinking of adding padded to shoulders and elbows.
