Snagged this cop jacket off Etsy. Was posted in the finds/deals thread. Was able to get it for a very low price. The measurements are completely all over the map and made zero sense. Thankfully it’s returnable but I hope it works. Little TLC and it should be a great beater. Leather looks stout, big fat Talon, could be cool.

Yeah it does look thick. Truthfully that’s the only reason I wanted it! The style itself isn’t particularly of interest but that collar looks like a thick cut pork chop!

Seems I have not been in the thread for some time. I do have this Hercules coming. The last two I had incoming were two Hercules MC jackets. Guess that makes me a collector! This jacket showed up on the Lounge and I need to have a look at it in hand. It may not fit me, but it will fit someone incase I need to move it along.

I do like the "vertical pocket" jackets. this should add to the data on this particular style. I've never owned one, don't recall if anyone here has. There is a great thread here on these map pocket jackets. Don't have the link as I write this.

I am convinced this one is made by Appalachian Tanned and Tailored. More details when it arrives.

Ye, I been busy selling my 40-foot sailboat and varnishing my newer 46 sailboat. The hide is fantastic, the fit good, and generally in good condition no real issues that need attention, the leather. is strong. I do plan a review coming soon. My boat closed today

Nice on the boat and the Sportclad. I thought the final price on the Hercules was fair. Taxes are really adding to the final cost even when the shipping was very reasonable.

I did get some back story on the jacket. I should have it Thursday. I will do a review. Looking forward to a Sportclad review.

Arrived yesterday, after Aero kindly remade it due to sizing issues.

Aero Original Hercules in Black Badalassi.

Olive contrast stitching, olive cotton liner, YKK zipper. Let me tell you: The hide is the bomb! Very luxurious hand; substantial yet pliable. The smell is sublime too. Will be quite some journey to see this break in.

Unfortunately, I do have too many black jackets now. Need to think hard about that.

Dismal photo, I know. The facial expression does in no way mirror my pleasure. Was just throwing the Herc on today to make a quick picture. Will seek to capture the hide and details better when the weather lights up (and before it gets too hot/humid again for ANY jacket).#

Jacket is tops and that leather is a worthy investment for sure. Looks and fits fantastic!

Far too small for me. Shame. This is an absolutely bad ass cop jacket. All talon hardware, heavy as Hell, great cut but likely a size 40” or maybe even a 38”. Couldn’t get it on.
