How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Not for me, but I have roped my older brother into Jacket Mania, and have just ordered his first jacket. My other brother and I are surprising him with a Vanson Oxford in Black for his 30th birthday. His wife is going to kill me, but I think he's really going to be happy with it.

I'll be the first to admit it's nothing spectacular but I've wanted one of these for a while now.
Made in 1998.
Picked it up for £120.

My Aero shipped with DHL today and is allegedly going to be delivered to me in NYC on Friday, is that too good to be true? Can it really sail through customs that fast?

Yes it can and will. All my Aeros make it from UK to Chicago in 2 days.

Can people stop talking about custom clearance and delievry time, please! I have two shipments from UK (not Aero) en route since March 23. Status updates from UPS are inconclusive to put it mildly and boil down to some unspecified Brexit-issues. At the same time, shipments from the US are without any issue. Not that the US are part of the EU, AFAIK...

Import duties are fair game for me; it is what it is, but the apparent inability to design an efficient process, four month into the nerw regime is breathtaking.

Well you were absolutely right, it went thru customs without issue. My next question is how is DHL going to go about shaking me down for customs duties? It's at the local facility and still on track to be delivered tomorrow, and I haven't heard anything from them about it yet

Then you won’t. I didn’t either on my last one. If you don’t have an email saying you owe $75 for fees, it’s a done deal.

Breaking news: UPS have now adviced that both parcels have cleared customs at 4pm today. Expected delivery is yesterday until COB.
I kid you not.

This design has been on my radar since I saw that Mushmans made a reproduction of it a couple of years ago.

I had never seen a vintage one for sale and the Mushmans had been sold out so I asked Greg (field leathers) whether he could make me one. He said he could but without the cording because he doesn't have a double needle machine. Stitch lines without cording seemed a bit lame to me so I said thank you but no, let's do a different design.

I'm glad @ton312 spotted this vintage one. Fingers crossed it fits :)

Perfect example of how the original trumps the repro. I’m excited for you, Windward is a fantastic jacket by any conceivable means of measure!
