Well the jacket arrived and I’m very happy with it. I’m guessing it’s from the 1970’s but it looks like it’s from the 40’s .

I'm having separation pains from my Thedi. Maybe I can "buy it back" in a couple of years ;)

Who knows, you might get lucky, but by then it might have doubled its value due to the “vintage” factor... [emoji51]

Just ordered a Horsehide Wested Raiders with a half belt... we’ll see how it comes out when it gets here; not sure about the turn around time...

I've got this one coming from Canada.
View attachment 67399 Right now it's stuck between the moon and New York City. Literally hasn't moved from the NYC PO since the 7th. Weather probably a factor there?
If this weather keeps up it probably won't see any wear until next year. Temps are heading up into the 60's at the end of the week. It's totally bizarre and frankly disappointing. This is Chicago, the weather is supposed to be miserable for a good 6 more weeks, then it should be mildly shitty until June. Then. Just hot.
what kind of coat exactly is this? a Canadian make? couldn't quite read the label.

That was a real mccoys railcoat. I nearly died wearing it. I was violently allergic to the wool. It was crazy over built. That wool jacket would stand up on it's own like a cxl jacket. Insane

Is the Bill Kelso the one from Canada on Ebay?

@willyto Yes, that's the one.. wasn't looking for an Indy jacket, but the measurements looked right.. and Ive never personally handled a Bill Kelso jacket nevertheless less one in the elusive and Superior Victory HH.. :) I half wanted to be outbid at the end as I've been hoarding my Paypal funds for something new.. I'm hoping for the best.
The other jacket, while a bit of a mess on the outside, the alpaca interior looks to be in great shape I hope i can clean it up enough to be presentable at least while shoveling snow or standing on the sidelines of a sporting event.

Ok, I accept the challenge to make it three Victory's in a row mentioned. Front half of one Kelso model mated to the back of another. My only leather jacket for the past five years or so.
Hopefully I'll be picking up my Good Wear Arcadia in another fabulous fantastic leather June or Oct. when I'm back in the States.
