Hey @ton212
I got a 60s black Brooks, on the recommendation of a serious veteran. It is too big for me according to the current norms. I don't care. Never gonna sell it, don't care if it gets messed up. What exactly is the definition of Ptina? That color looks really pretty.
If it doesn't fit, drop me a line.
Looks really nice.

Peace.

^^ Very nice sir! Looks awesome...

Tony, don't worry; you are still the most "sane" of any of us on here! Not sure what that means, but I'm sure it means something. Really like that blue. :)

Incoming from the Aero sale page... could not resist, I mean just look at it. Ever look at the Sales page and think to yourself, "How nice of someone to design a full custom jacket to my exact measurments and preferred configuration and then leave it in the sale page at a nice discount?" Been wanting a Sheene for a while, and if I had to customize one for myself, I think this would pretty much be it, and the measurements should be perfect for me. I cannot wait to try it on...

Modified Cafe Racer, Chromexcel Heavy Steerhide (Black), 44", S#3449

Made from Black Chromexcel Heavy Steerhide with a Black Cotton Drill Lining and fitted with Brass Hardware.

Pit to Pit: 23.75"
Sleeve: 25.5"

This one arrived earlier than I expected! I need to fix the sleeve lenght though, it's too long for me.

I'd live with it for a bit first, tbh - that sleeve doesn't look at all wrong on you in these photos.

I think Thedi has a green that looks great - if my old brain is working. I too love the idea. I was pretty hot on a natural, but not sure. Dark blue/dark green would be killer. Green even more so.

Green always put me in mind of the old German jackets that looked like they started out near black then faded to a deep green. It's a colour I rather like.

I agree. That thing is gorgeous.
Just checked, it's sold out, and only goes to a 46...the usual.

I think Simon might be persuaded into offering a bigger size in the next run of a whole bunch of the bigger guys from these parts got together and were ready to put their money down for a bigger size.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately the wool only allowed for a very short run. I think it was sold out after 24h .It's based on an original with the same pattern in different colour.

I think the idea is in the future offer it in different fabrics and colours if it works out well.

Regarding size problems I think it's a matter of forced factory minimums. Handicap of being a small brand.

Yip. I believe there will be more next Winter, with a different colour wool.

Couldn't lay off this Brooks. Hopefully it fits

Nice blue. I've seen a ;lot of seventies British jackets in exactly this shade.

View attachment 102572 my new SM wholesale in chestnut steerhide should be here before too long. I had it custom made to my specific measurements.

Nice. Is that the Danish company that was being talked about a few weeks ago, or another one?

That's probably going to be too tight. But if you don't ever want to zip it up, maybe...

I think you would be very uncomfortable in that jacket. I find the cafe racer style to be a very trim and close fit and that would only be exacerbated in a jacket that is a size or two too small.

No way you're going to fit in it. I'm a 39" chest and I wear 21-21,5" pit to pit jackets with a snug fit.
