How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Oops! But yeah, patina. I think you have to accept a kevel of odd marks like that with natural leather.

Just remembered I have an SJC 33 on the way! :)

I think that i am going to keep messing around with Blondie. i can't find the product you recommended. I get lost a lot on this forum, as i'm still not used to social media. I think I am going to start a thread. Is that cool for a newbie to do?. I am certainly not a prime source for accurate information.

HA! Yeah, I've got a bit of bulk to shift from the midriff before I go looking at a Shackleton...... though I'm seeing it in maybe a battered fqhh, with leather back and an inner pocket or two...).

(That said, I didn't think the design on Pratt's was all that bad, given it was very calculatedly a modern design.)

Pratt famously lost a bit around his midriff, going from funny guy to leading man in the process.

He only did it so he could rock a leather vest, though. :)

Took a flyer on a Beck Arnley CR. I love my comet for riding (the jacket truly only feels good, scratch that, perfect, when on bike) but want something else to sport when not just going out for a long ride.

The jacket looks to have been sitting in a closet for the last 30 or so years. Fingers crossed.

Just ordered the Aeromarine in russet goat from Aero’s sale page. Hopefully it will arrive next week, when they’re open again after Christmas. It looks to be spot on my size, with a slight risk that the sleeves could be on the short side. But I think it’ll turn out alright.

Been looking at this style for a while now and when I saw my size on the sale page I just had to try it. The russet goat looks very nice on pictures as well.

Well worth starting a thread on it.

For Pecard Leather Dressing, try Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=peard+leather+dressing

I was very close to buying that one too but decided to restrain.
Please post pics when you get it so I can properly regret not pulling the trigger earlier! [emoji16]

Haha, will do! [emoji6]

I’ve been looking at that jacket for a while too but at first was more into a hand-warmer version in a different leather. But today I realized I really like that color and the lining as well. And with no waiting time and a price considerably lower than a custom order...

I’m not sure how it will fit me, as I have a rather slim build but will subject that to the opinions of the lounge. Fit pics as soon as it has arrived. Oh man, the wait is so hard!

The Beck-Arnley arrived. Great shape. Everything works perfectly. Lots of life left, guy was serious when he said it just sat in his closet for decades. Fits good, bit looser than my riding jackets so my gamble based on the stated measurements paid off this time. After a few duds on eBay, this one worked out well for me.

It's here! I added an extra 1.5" to the waist for a better fit. I think it's looking good. And clearly I've been on vacation too long, I need to shave.

I need that jacket!!! Man that's seriously perfect. Gorgeous and perfect fit! Timing couldn't be better, given the artic conditions that are not letting up. That's stellar man. A+ 100%
You need to not shave. My beard has reached epic hipster level and I don't care. I'm bringing it with me to work. I can hide a sandwich in it and at least my face is somewhat warm.

I wore it out today when I ran my errands. Got one compliment on it already! It did well for the cold we had today. Definitely looking forward to temps higher than teens this weekend.

I gotta shave before I go back to work on Monday. I don't have the tolerance for facial hair that you do. Nothing like working out at the gym and stopping to scratch my face, ha!

I tried that once but it was a used jacket. Didn't quite work...crumby pic. CXL steer brown with brown shearling/mouton liner. Size 42".

Ton,
Did you sell that one on eBay a couple years back? I seem to remember seeing that one for sale and wanting to buy it so bad even though I knew it was too small and too warm for where I live.
