I'm pretty much happy with the 5 Aeros I have- they're all different styles. Ideally, I'd just have three, but I felt I'd done quite well to give away an SB and sell two other Aeros. I have a goatskin HB and a Stockman that I could move on too, but the goatskin one was the most practical for HK and the Stockman was perfect in Shanghai winter (I am going back to one of those places, indefinitely, soon). The Highwayman, Cafe Racer and Maxwell are the three I'd not be without.

I'd like a Himel Canuck, but it crosses a cost line for me- I'll not go above 800 quid for a jacket or 200 for footwear. But, if I did goddamnit, I'd get a Canuck.

Speaking of mindless piling up of jackets, just unboxed this.

Perfection. Think of me if you decide to move it lol. But seriously, think of me.

We both know how any of my promises to keep any jacket worked out so far for me but this just really fits me so well in every regard, I can't imagine parting with it right now.
I mean, I could go for a brand new, full custom one but for the money I paid for this... I don't think I could've landed a better jacket.
Wonderful jacket.

It is very pleasant to the eyes, like a double-layered birthday cake. What do you think of the hide?

I'll admit I still prefer the CXL but it's a very nice hide. Soft, super tough coating. It's got this smell that so reminds me of another leather jacket I've had but can't remember which. And it feels like I've had this jacket a million years ago. Weird. I'll try to do a proper review tomorrow.

Yes, CXL is infinitely better. Send it my way with the Monitor-mark-up!

Enjoy the jacket, it looks amazing. It will serve you well. I have firmly decided that LWs is my favorite current maker.

This epitome of a cross zip needs to be dedicated to decades of service followed by family heirloom status for the next few generations so that future scientists and collectors can see what the heck leather jackets were all about.
Yeah, i like this one!!

Twin track Bronx just arrived. Cowhide, quite stretchy

Very nice. If memory serves, this model was originally introduced in 1966, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the original Lewis Bronx model, which debuted in 1956. The double-zip feature is something that was later seen in a lot of British-made motorcycle jackets well into the eighties, but to the best of my knowledge Lewis did it first. I've long thought it would be cool on a Lightning too.

Amazing. You got yourself one of the better Cal's out there. That's that blanket-leather. Soft but super heavy.
Thanks. After handling the jacket, I definitely see what all the fuss is about when it comes to vintage Cal Leathers.

I have to credit @JMax for providing loads of advice on what to look for in a CL jacket. He helped me find this one. :)

Where are the fit pics? This looks brilliant. We need them now!
