How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

IH 23oz trucker arrived. Worth the minor inconvenience of delayed shipping. Might be my favorite pice of gear to date. 23oz denim is something else. Cotton armor.

Copy that!! And I think it will develop pretty sweet fades!

Given I parted ways with my too small black 40 Excelled CR, I figured why not try a 42 but in brown. Bargain from the 'bay. Seller's measurements look crazy out of whack but it's tagged a 42R so hopefully it fits. Arriving EOW

I have the EXACT same jacket , brown , in 42". Bought from this very forum. ( out of the UK indeed )
It has become one of my (many!) favourites.
It does however fit "big" as I take a 44" in Schott all day long.
All the best with it mate from Perth Western Australia

Just this evening "won" a Simmons Bilt Nebraska in black goat size 44" from the 'bay.
(A week ago I was contacted by a girl in the eastern states of Australia and I sold her my Schott 689H.)
This Nebraska collared café racer will fill that void for me. Coming to Perth Australia from Tuscumbia Alabama
That and I have always hankered after an Alexander leathers and/or Simmons bilt jacket being originally Scottish by birth.
Here's hoping it fits on arrival. paypal had of course their 'Australian import tax" as they do these days
While it was a " good deal " it will still be at the top of my jackets price wise once in Australia.
I realise it is VERY similar to Aero's collared café racer and/or zip sleeve Highwayman, and I am OK with that

It actually looks a lot like a Lewis Dominator. I like it. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the goat when it arrives.

Yes I had spotted that similarity also. Black collared centre zip jackets are my "modus operandi" over the years.
Who knows this may become my new "favourite". ( can't let the others know I have a FAVOURITE of course !!)

Sigh!

This is in the post to me at the moment.

Of course it's the perfect jacket for while I've got no motorcycle and several of my important bones are in bits anyway - but it looked just right, and the price was a genuine steal, and one day I'll be healed and back on another bike, right?

And anyway, I'll just dress it up with some chinos and a shirt and tie in the meantime.

It arrived today. Proper pictures in a day or two but I'm very pleased - the fit seems to be spot on.

British style cross zip, hefty cow, super chunky ykk zips, no maker's label.

I might give this its own thread and see what I can find out about it.

Oh also, sleeve zips are on top of the cuff, which I really like and haven't seen much on this style of jacket before.

Fidelity IR just arrived. All perfect and fits spot on. I am very happy with it. Even my wife stated, “that looks great”. She’s to the point, if the fit sucks she tells me in increasingly insulting ways.

That's why my wife don't see my new jackets until I am wearing them on our daily morning walk with the dogs.

oh please post pic and fit photos, does it stand on its own? I really want an athletic cut, yet RIGID/DRY trucker, but most products are softened, thin, and the Unbranded ones are slim cut with long sleeves.

I did post one or two in the jacket o' the day thread but they are pretty awful. I'll get better ones this weekend. It does stand on it's own like a cxl jacket. A novel trick I entertained my whole office with yesterday morning. The denim is extremely rigid and the difference in weight between the 23oz and 21oz is palpable. It's quite a piece of cotton!

I sold a Thedi Hercules that was a bit tight and too short and bought this larger, Rainbow Country Hercules without adding any extra cash so I broke even for a change, which was nice. This one fits better and the horsehide is quite thick for a Japanese-made jacket

Evening folks
Thought my first post should be in this thread as I currently have an Aero Pre war RAF flight jacket in seal brown on order
I hope to have it by the end of this month
It will be my first leather jacket

it may however have been a mistake to join and browse this forum as I am already thinking of a Cafe Racer and the Thedi green or brown HB posted about 50 pages or so back

There are so many fantastic coats and jackets posted in this thread and others that inspiration is available on every page
