LL Bean A-2 came in today! Much sooner than I expected, I must say. The color is everything I've ever wanted in an A-2! A beautiful marbled brown.

The mystery jacket (Taubers?) came in. Really nice. Perfect condition. Lighter-weight leather (5.26 lbs) and it fits well. Leather-lined pockets, both external and internal. All talon zips and they all perfectly work. I don’t think this jacket has been worn much, if at all. I’ll take a fit pic this weekend prior to my ride.

Starting to Jones for a cross zip again. I think this is the longest I’ve gone without one. Circle of life.

Had this HH off the sale page, pretty ******** perfect fit..... they also had a modified CR with the same measurements..... so snagged that as well! The first image is edited for a social feed I have but the last 2 are real life colour etc...

That's a spectacular fit and just how I want my future crosszip to fit; wide shoulders, very trim in the waist and just long enough to cover belt. Couldnt get any better than that, congratulations!

What does your universal racer look like???

It has shoulder & elbow patches, olive cotton drill lining, all button closure with broad lapel with cafe racer mandarin collar. It’s the ancestor of Cascade type motorcycle jacket

I have as well a couple times, but just got the HH and a brown FQHH sheene and great fits! Hope you get lucky soon

It’s just such a good fit and I love the simplicity of it! Can’t wait for the wear and patina, but also scored a Sheene in brown FQHH so they’re about to get worn in the English summer
