Looking great! I can only imagine you inspired some folks at the wedding.

Since I've only recently begun wearing hats regularly, I got the opposite comment from an acquaintance today. "Hey, I've never seen you in a hat before. I almost didn't recognize you." He was only joking, but I think it counts.I finally got the comment I've read about here, when i went hatless to the bank yesterday. "Whoa, I didn't even recognize you without your hat!"
Except for the fact that your hand is obscuring the lovely lady's face, that's an extremely nice photo!...I can show you a couple of their guests...
Thankyou for the compliment, the photo was contrived by one of the photographers, I showed my wife your kind sentiment, to which she replied: "Aw shucks!" Here's the lady without anything obscuring her: And thanks again.Except for the fact that your hand is obscuring the lovely lady's face, that's an extremely nice photo!
That's a lovely photo! Thank you for sharing it! :yo:...Here's the lady without anything obscuring her...
Here's how I look at it: "IT'S JUST A HAT!" Put it on, it's there, take it off, it's not there. And as Graham Thompson puts it: "Life's better in a great hat". And I believe him.
thanks again Zombie, man, your avatar freaks me.That's a lovely photo! Thank you for sharing it! :yo:
This is the New Conformity, created by the cultural revolution of the late 1960s as a protest against what that generation thought was conformity, but which is much more disapproving and even tyrannical.Thompson is so right. It's ok to wear a cap...to match it with, words fail me, some sort of pants, that hang so low, the wearer looks like those emperor penguins waddling around at the south pole...But step out in a suit, or jacket and trousers, collar and tie, a smart hat and a pair of brogues and you are deemed a threat.
Thanks...I think. lol I started using Zombie_61 as a username about a decade ago, and I've used it on almost every forum I've joined just to be consistent. When I found that image online (from a video game called "Stubbs the Zombie") I thought it would be a good way to combine my username and the theme of this forum....thanks again Zombie, man, your avatar freaks me...
Ohhh, you bet it does. I think it's so prevalent that it's more surprising to find a dad that actually knows how to dance....We have a particular phenomenon in our country, it's known as Dad Dancing...Just curious, does this specimen exist elsewhere?
.....no Indiana Jones reference the whole blessed day!!!! Wooo Hooooo!
I have been called a pimp and a cowboy but the negative or off-handed comments are rare. I have gotten a TON of positive feedback of people thinking it is cool or they want one. 19 yr old kid at the grocery store asked me how to fit one for his head shape the other day. I told him I better see him with a proper hat within a month lol
