Thanks! Since it's glued it might be more like mid 1960s. You start seeing these type of German Homburgs in the late 50s into the 1960s.

I bought it from Buler here on the FL. He posted a pic a few weeks back of two hats & hat boxes he found, and I wondered if he was going to sell the homburg, and behold, he did!

Hückel Weilheim Mercur Homburg, size 59cm 7 3/8, great condition, probably mid to late 1950s. The brim curl on this one is fantastic.

They look great with a suit but they can work in a casual setting too. Stealing Manfred's photo from earlier today.

Also I would suggest going vintage. I haven't come across any production or custom Homburgs that can match vintage. Vintage Homburgs are plentiful in all sizes and usually not expensive.
