Huckel is the oldest and largest hat factory today. The real name is Tonak. In the US , you will see hats made by them using the name Selentino . We sell their velour hats on our site . They also make hats for Stetson .

"Huckel" hats are made in the Czech Republic town of Novy Jicin. One of Novy Jicin's highlights is its Hat Museum, which the town claims is the only one in the world. The museum has on display a number of exhibits documenting the variety of hats produced by "Huckel".
Novy Jicin has been known as a producer of hats since the end of the 18th century; "Huckel" was founded in 1799.

Marc , as for the hat museums ,there is one in Italy by Borsalino , one in Stockport England which is the old Christy's plant and one in France .
The Borsalino museum just reopened after being closed for years . If anyone wants to see truly incredible vintage hats , that the place to go .

Nope. It's spelled Hockel. I'm holding one in my hands. It's very cheaply made, but...it's a fur felt fedora. I can't find anything on the Net about the company.
