Thanks Mighty44, I have seen some diamond creases with two pinches, the four pinches is more uncommon, isn’t? Do you know what kind of hat this is, cause I don’t have the slightest idea what to call it.

I think it looks like a diamond crease

My Agnoulita hat just arrived and I’m loving it. It fits perfectly and I love the felt’s color. It goes with everything in my closet so I’m very pleased. I was a little bit concerned with the wide of the brim, as it can easily get out of proportion. I don’t know much about hats but the craftsmanship seems pretty good. It feels and looks great. Mr Pappa is an excellent milliner. This will definitely not be the last hat I order from him!

That’s a good looking hat! Well done.

Thanks again. The truth be told, I will likely not be wearing this Homburg for a few more years. I purchased it for the year when I am fortunate enough to sit in the East within my Masonic Lodge. Which is why I selected the royal blue coloring for the hat's underbrim; in Freemasonry the home Lodge is also referred to as the Blue Lodge. So I envisioned that wearing this handsome Homburg with blue accent, with a dark suit and a royal blue long tie. . . I should look pretty sharp before my Brethren. That's the plan anyway. BUT, you are absolutely correct regarding the enticement of getting another hat! I am exceptionally pleased with what I personally perceive regarding the quality of this hat and its price point. I just doubt that I would ever wear this or any orther style of mens semi-dress hat; I'm more of a cabbie, Boston Scally hat wearer (to which I own several).
Fraternal Greetings I am a PAGReg in UGLE

Hello Congrats on your Agnoulita, I have yet to receive my first Agnoulita but I am impressed with their responsive emails. I have asked for very wide hatband ribbons, I think they do up to 70mm which is a little over 2 3/4 of an inch. I love the wide ribbons of yesteryear. Sadly not many hatmakers routinely offer wider ribbons

Hallo Gareth! Thanks for your post. Mr Pappa at Agnoulita was also very helpful. I’m glad to hear that you are having a good experience too. I don’t think that he ignores emails deliberately. It is challenging for a little shop to respond all the messages and keep track of them all. By the way it Is funny that you write, I was just about to text sending you a greeting from another traveler. (DDFO) Or.: København in Denmark.

Looking forward to see your hat when it arrives!

My Agnoulita arrived a few days ago. This is the "Oppenheimer" model in Coffee Beaver. Ivory band and binding. 7cm (2 3/4") brim.

The felt is a lot stiffer than I expected, maybe a little like western felt? It has a somewhat "cardboardy" feel to it. The colour is a bit darker, and the ribbon a bit whiter then I thought. In retrospect, I would've chosen a more cream coloured ribbon.

The fit is perfect, and I love the shape. I like these semi-telescopic crowns, this is probably my new favourite crown shape. Interesting is the use of a real mother of pearl button to attach the wind cord on the inside, which is a nice touch. It seems securely attached and should be suitable to actual use, rather then being purely cosmetic.

Next time I think Ill go for hare or rabbit felt. For the money you can get a lot of customization here. A customized hat for 200 or so is not a bad deal at all. Overall I'm quite happy with it. Some reshaping of the brim was necessary because it didn't quite snap properly, but it was a quick fix.

Another thing to mention is that I chose their "natural" coloured sweat band. The colour is really white rather than natural, and has a obvious, thick pigment coating on top. The band is subtle, but not full grain natural leather.

Hi everyone, I have already posted this in the new hat section so if you wish to delete this, totally understand.

Presenting a custom moss Green fedora from Agnoulita Hats.

The model is known as the coach, although it's not offered at this time (similar hats are available)

The specs are:
- Rabbit fur-felt hat body
- 5 1/4" center dent crown
- 3 5/8" raw-edged stiff flat brim
- 1 1/4" grosgrain ribbon hatband
- Rayon satin lining
- Genuine leather sweatband

My hat has a colour pallet based on a Herbert John Poet, worn by a certain scarf-wearing time traveller (for those not familiar with Doctor Who, Tom Baker had 3 different coloured hats, the second one he wore was Bottle Green/Moss green depending who you ask and which light it's under)

I wasn't going for an exact match, as the original hat has a more "Fluffy" look to it which may draw some unfavourable looks from the people at the footy or in my local supermarket.

Now, I took a bit of a gamble on HNC as I was not familiar with their work before I stumbled across their store on Etsy, I have to say I feel it has more than paid off.

Customer service was excellent, Mr P took me through all the options, even trying to help me work out the best shade of green for the hat I was trying to replicate. Excellent communication and I would certainly recommend them at the price of the hats available, especially as everything is tailored to the wearer's needs as much as possible. The hat came well packaged and with a lovely bag to store it in (sadly the bag had to be used for other things as we lost my pet rabbit a few days later.)

I was considering this hat (different colour pallet) before I found an old OR on ebay, so I'll be interested to know what its like to live with.

I have purchased several hats from Mr. P over the past 3-4 yrs and they all still look and feel as nice as when I received them. I get more compliments about them than my other hats. One thing to keep in mind is his communication through his website can be lacking but he tends to be more responsive through his Etsy store, in my experience. I find his hats to be comfortable, easy to shape, and have a nice feel in hand.

Love the green, I think you'll enjoy it for years to come as his work has continued to improve over they years.

So hard to find a good hat these days in my size haha. How do you manage?
A few months back I made a hat for a fellow with a size 63 long oval head. He was about to retire and his whole life he had wanted a fedora like the one his father wore. But he could never find one to fit him. On the day he came by to pick up the hat.....upon placing the hat on his head, looking in the mirror, tears rolled down his cheeks. Finally, he had the hat he had long wanted and it actually fit him. Sometimes, custom is the only way to go.

Well custom is one way to go, and the best but the English Hatters, such as Bates and also Lock, routinely offer 63 and higher in some cases. Christy's only go up to 62, but I can squeeze one on. Actually, technically I am a 62.5 but hat sizes vary. Vintage is very difficult, either you can't get them or you pay so much you are better off with a custom job

I'd like to have your details, are you Belfast or overseas?
